The Third book in The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer

Storyline: Cinder and Captain Thorne are fugitives on the run, with Scarlet and Wolf in tow. Together they’re plotting to overthrow Queen Levana and her army. Their best hope lies with Cress, who has been trapped on a satellite since childhood with only her netscreens as company. All that screen time has made Cress an excellent hacker; unfortunately, she’s just received orders from Levana to track down Cinder and her handsome accomplice…When a daring rescue goes awry, the group is separated. Cress finally has her freedom, but it comes at a high price. Meanwhile, Queen Levana will let nothing stop her marriage to Emperor Kai. Cress, Scarlet, and Cinder may not have signed up to save the world, but they may be the only ones who can.

Okay Cress and Thorne are Definitely my Favourite couple! – even though they’re not an actual couple – I love their dynamic and their banter and loyalty to each other. The characters in this series are all so lovable and compliment each other so nicely, not many series have this many lovable characters!! I liked this one way more than the last one, I like that you never really know what is going to happen and that everything always seems to go wrong before kind of working out a little then going wrong again and then working out again, I like the back and forth of not knowing how it’s going to end up. (also chapter fifty three made me have ALL THE FEELS! I literally sobbed) I loved this book, this world is just incredible I love the StarWars meets Disney Princess fairytales feelings, it is literally everything! I highly highly highly recommend this series!
I just need to figure out which book is next because I thought it was Winter but at the end of this one it says the next instalment is Fairest.. hmmm… I think I’m going to read Fairest next.

I rate this book
