The second book in The Breathless Trilogy by Maya Banks
Storyline: Jace Crestwell, Ash McIntyre, and Gabe Hamilton have been best friends and successful business partners for years. They’re powerful, they’re imposing, they’re irresistibly sexy, and Jace and Ash share everything—including their women. When they meet Bethany, Jace begins to feel things he’s never experienced before: jealousy, and a powerful obsession that threatens him, overwhelms him—and excites him beyond control. Jace isn’t sharing Bethany—with anyone. He’s determined to be the only man in her life, and it’s jeopardizing a lifelong friendship with Ash. Bethany will be his and his alone. Even if it means turning his back on his best friend.
Okay! So this one was the second friend jace’s story, In the first one I wasn’t a Huge fan of Jace –seriously bro, call your sister ‘baby girl’ one more time I DARE YOU!– but aside from minor issues he’s okay I guess. he comes off as a complete creepy stalker/kidnapper at first…like seriously the dude needs to calm his shit a bit. It made the book a little awkward for a few chapters. This one was a little more intense than the last one and definitely had more rocky relationship problems. I liked the story, but I’m still just not a fan of Jace. Bethany I loved though! I would say this one wasn’t as good as the first but I still really enjoyed it. Especially the ending! I didn’t see that coming!! That was a twist!
I rate this book
