The Third book in The Breathless Trilogy by Maya Banks

Storyline: When it comes to sex, Ash McIntyre has always explored his wilder side – extreme and uncompromising. He demands control. And he prefers women who want it like that. Even the women he’s shared with his best friend, Jace. But Jace is now involved with a woman he has no intention of sharing. Leaving Ash feeling restless and unfulfilled. Then Ash meets Josie, who seems immune to his charms and his wealth. Intrigued, he begins a relentless pursuit, determined she won’t be the one who got away. He never imagined the one woman to tell him no would be the only woman who’d ever drive him to the edge of desire.

Okay so I’m not going to lie, right from the beginning of this series Ash was my favourite. He’s always been so fun and lighthearted and easy-going..until now! He is probably the most intense one out of all three of them and until i read his story I never fully understood him. I did like that the female character in this one was firmiliar to the Sub/Dom lifestyle. and that it was actually what she wanted in a relationship! That was a newer concept.

But on the other hand it pretty much was almost an exact replica of the last two books just with the smallest differences.. after three books it just got a bit too repetitive, like as if the author couldn’t think of anything new to add to the story. although I’m happy this one cleared up a few questions I had from the end of the first one. Don’t get me wrong, I did like this book. I think it was just a bit boring at the end because I basically read the same book three times just with different names and a few different problems arising. But I would actually recommend this series anyways (I mean I definitely recommend reading Rush for sure)

I rate this book
