Six of Crows

The first book in the Six of Crows Duology by Leigh Bardugo

Storyline: Ketterdam. a bustling hub of international trade where anything can be had for the right price–and no one knows that better than criminal prodigy Kaz Brekker. Kaz is offered a chance at a deadly heist that could make him rich beyond his wildest dreams. But he can’t pull it off alone…

A convict with a thirst for revenge.

A sharpshooter who can’t walk away from a wager.

A runaway with a privileged past.

A spy known as the Wraith.

A Heartrender using her magic to survive the slums.

A thief with a gift for unlikely escapes.

Six dangerous outcasts. One impossible heist. Kaz’s crew is the only thing that might stand between the world and destruction—if they don’t kill each other first.

It was A bit confusing to start, theres so many characters to learn and names of places and languages right off the start, It was a lot to get my head around, but it sorted itself out quickly and after it did…. OH MY GOD! I’m not sure why I’ve waited so long to read this book! First of all, it was written so flawlessly! It’s so easy to read, the story and the scenes just flow off the pages. And those characters! Gah! I loved everything about these characters!! They were spunky, smart, sassy, badass, and everything I’ve ever wanted in a kickass squad! #squadgoals for sure! I never wanted to put this book down (even when I needed to!) and found myself rushing back to it whenever I had a spare minute to read a page. It’s got drama, action, deadly missions and hinted romantic intentions! I loved every minute of this book (obviously after I figured out who was who) ahhhh! If you haven’t read this series, you need to, like now. Highly recommending this book! And with that cliffhanger I can’t wait to read the next one!

I rate this book

10/10
