Monster Blood

A Third Goosebumps book by R.L. Stine

Description: Evan visits an eerie old toy store and buys a dusty can of Monster Blood. But then he notices something weird about the slimy green ooze. It keeps growing. And growing. And growing. And all that growing has given the Monster Blood a monstrous appetite…

Wow. I didn’t see that ending coming at all! I had no clue what was going on. This book was hectic yet at the same time felt like not a lot happened. It was better than the last one I read but still not as good as the first. It felt repetitive, like every day was him doing the same things. He wakes up he eats he goes out to play with this little creepy kid he met…the overall underlying story (aside from the actual monster blood) was just weird, I’m not fully sure why they even had to leave him with his deaf great aunt that he only met once. I didn’t really get that it’s not hard to take a kid with you to look for houses. Yea, a lot of this book just didn’t make sense, but that kind of added to the feel of it… it felt like nothing was too crazy to happen in this book, you had literally no idea what could happen next.

I rate this book
