Description: Fans of The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices can get to know warlock Magnus Bane like never before in this collection of New York Times bestselling tales, each with comic-style art. This collection of eleven short stories illuminates the life of the enigmatic Magnus Bane, whose alluring personality, flamboyant style, and sharp wit populate the pages of the #1 New York Times bestselling series, The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices. Originally released one-by-one as e-only short stories by Cassandra Clare, Maureen Johnson, and Sarah Rees Brennan, this compilation presents all ten together in print and includes a special eleventh tale, as well as eleven comic illustrations.

Magnus is undeniably my favourite Mortal Instruments character ever! He’s such a colourful, vibrant and vivacious guy! I just love him so much…So a chance to read a bunch of stories about his life was amazing! And it made me feel better while I was sick!…I admit I didn’t like how it flitted back and forth from one time period to another time, I prefer things in chronological order.. but that’s a minor complaint. A few of the stories were better than others, but they all had some funny/emotional/impactful aspects to them! I loved seeing things from his past, he’s been through so much in his life and had so many adventures, I’d honestly be more than happy to just read like a ten volume series of just Magnus stories! He’s so fun! So needless to say, I absolutely loved this book! Highly recommended!

I rate this book

9/10
