The Werewolf of Fever Swamp

A Fourteenth Goosebumps book by R.L. Stine

Description: There is something weird happening in Fever Swamp. Something really horrible. It started with the strange howling at night. Then there was the rabbit, torn to shreds. Everyone things Grady’s new dog is responsible. After all, he looks just like a wolf. And he seems a little on the wild side. But Grady knows his dog is just a regular old dog. And most dogs don’t howl at the moon. Or disappear at midnight. Or change into terrifying creatures when the moon is full. Or do they?

Sometimes I can’t get over how stupid the kids in these books can be, yes let’s walk alone around a random swamp where dangerously grassy areas and bogs are, with unknown animals lurking about and a weird swamp hermit lives… not only once, no.. that’s not enough let’s repeatedly walk through said swamp, without any adult supervision. And then instantly take in a stay dog that you know nothing about.. a lot of bad decisions were made in this one. Overall I thought this one was okay, kind of boring actually, but it wasn’t super lame or dumb. It was decent but it wasn’t the best one.

I rate this book
