The Husbands Secret

A Novel by Liane Moriarty

Synopsis: My darling Cecilia, If you’re reading this, then I’ve died…Imagine your husband wrote you a letter, to be opened after his death. Imagine, too, that the letter contains his deepest, darkest secret—something with the potential to destroy not only the life you built together, but the lives of others as well. And then imagine that you stumble across that letter while your husband is still very much alive…Cecilia Fitzpatrick has achieved it all—she’s an incredibly successful businesswoman, a pillar of her small community, and a devoted wife and mother. But that letter is about to change everything—and not just for her. There are other women who barely know Cecilia—or each other—but they, too, are about to feel the earth-shattering repercussions of her husband’s secret.

Okay, so i types up my review last week and I meant to post this last Sunday.. my bad. I was on vacation.

Oh my goodness, I really loved this book! There were moments that seemed a little boring.. but they’d pass quickly and get really interesting again.

I couldn’t put this book down, I needed to see how it ended. I felt so invested in all of the characters stories, I was so emotionally connected to the three main girls.. I may have cried. I don’t know what I would have done if I was in any of these women’s situations!

It was full of intense drama and intrigue, I loved the twists and turns of the story and how everyone was essentially connected without even really knowing why they were (aside from knowing they all lived in the same place and all use Tupperware)

And the epilogue! Oh goodness the epilogue was fantastic! I loved all the ‘what if’s’ and the ‘if it had happened differently’ things. It’s crazy to think how one moment can define the rest of your life. It literally only takes one moment.

I would highly recommend this book! Now I want to find another one of her books because I can’t see how I wouldn’t love it!

I rate this book
